Tips for Success
Verify Al Insights: While Haiku Al provides a powerful tool for legal research, always corroborate Al-generated conclusions with manual research or expert consultation.
Multiple Tabs for Efficiency: You can open multiple tabs of Haiku Al to conduct parallel searches without losing data from other sessions.
Email Notifications: If you opt for an in-depth case analysis, Haiku Al may take time to process the information. Check your email for notifications from [email protected], including in your spam folder, for updates on your requests.
Take your Research Results and Draft Legal Documents with our Al Chat.
Be Specific with Your Queries: When using an Al system for legal research, clarity and specificity are key. Clearly define the legal issues, relevant jurisdictions, and any specific terms or phrases related to your case. The more detailed your query, the more relevant and precise the Al's response will be.
Critically Evaluate Al-Generated Results: Although Al systems like Haiku deliver comprehensive legal information, it's essential to critically examine the outcomes. Haiku aids this process by citing and highlighting authoritative sources, making it easier to evaluate the credibility and relevance of the information.
Please note that the firm also subscribes to Westlaw, Lexis, and other case law research services that provide more traditional citation checking. We recommend that you also refer to those services when validating case law. Some courts and judges require a Westlaw or Lexis citation, which Haiku does not provide. Please contact [email protected] if you have questions on using any of those services.
