Medical Chronologies

Haiku’s Medical Chronology feature is designed to generate comprehensive, structured summaries of a patient’s medical history, built directly from source records.

📁 How to Generate a Medical Chronology

  1. Go to the Medical Chronology Tool

    • From the left navigation panel, click “Medical Chronology”

  2. Upload Source Documents

    • Drag and drop PDFs or upload full medical files

    • Haiku Medical Chronologies supports documents of any length.

  3. Initiate Chronology Generation

    • Click “Generate Chronology”

    • Haiku will return a structured timeline of all visits, diagnoses, procedures, and findings

  4. Download & Use Your Excel File

    • The output includes visit dates, facilities, providers, diagnoses, procedures, and notes

    • Use the Excel file for drafting, reviewing, or sharing with your team or clients

⚠️ Important: If you analyze medical records using the Assistant or other tools, you may receive shortened or partial summaries. Use the dedicated Medical Chronology feature to ensure complete coverage.

Retention Policy Notice

In accordance with the firm's retention policy, all files uploaded to Haiku will be deleted after 30 days, and all chats, including their history, will be permanently deleted after 30 days of inactivity (not sending a new prompt). To maintain a record of your files and chats, please download and save copies to iManage. This ensures that you have a backup and can access your files and chat history even after they are removed from Haiku.
