Here's everything you need to know to get started with Haiku.
What is Haiku?
Haiku is the firm's AI Legal Assistant designed to help you review contracts, draft documents, and conduct legal research accurately and intuitively, leveraging the power of generative AI. Haiku is secure to the firm, and no firm data is used to train the model.

Legal Drafting: Draft precise legal documents, clauses, emails, contracts, and more with our versatile AI Assistant.
File Analysis: Uncover critical insights from your uploaded files and leverage those insights to draft documents with our AI Assistant.
Legal Research: Haiku provides AI-powered legal research in two places. You can run research directly inside the AI Assistant, and you can also use the dedicated Legal Research section for deeper queries. Both draw from a comprehensive knowledge base that includes:
US State & Federal Laws
US Case Law at the Appellate level and above
AI Citator: Dive deeper into your legal research with our AI Citator, able to showcase referenced cases and provide an AI interpretation of case standing.
Constant Updates
Haiku's AI system evolve rapidly, and some aspects of the user interface may differ from what is shown. This is normal and reflects the ongoing enhancements to the platform. Refresh Haiku daily (or more often) to access the latest updates, or click the "Refresh" option if prompted to load the latest version of Haiku.
Important: Although AI systems like Haiku deliver comprehensive legal information, it's essential to critically examine important results.
Retention Policy Notice
In accordance with the firm's retention policy, all files uploaded to Haiku will be deleted after 30 days, and all chats, including their history, will be permanently deleted after 30 days of inactivity (not sending a new prompt). To maintain a record of your files and chats, please download and save copies to iManage. This ensures that you have a backup and can access your files and chat history even after they are removed from Haiku.
